WELCOME,
Welcome
to
Constrictors4Life!
"The Boa constrictor is a large, heavy-bodied species of snake."
That's how easy the Boa is described these days.
But we've made it our goal to try and understand our Boas while
we're taking care of them, once you're trying to do just that you'll
find out it isn't just a "heavy-bodied species of snake".
They are more, much more than just that.
On this website you can find photos and information about the Boas
here at
Constrictors4Life!,
as well as further information like possible breeding trials.
Thanks for stopping by,
A LONG TIME
07/06/2010
lIt
has been a while since I last posted an update, it has been busy
times here at
C4L!
I have had multiple websites to build, but things have just gone on.
All the animals are doing great! Some are really starting to show
their true colors!
I'm well underway building a new enclosure over here. This has taken
a lot of my time as well, but as always ... seeing it coming
together is well worth it! I've placed photos of this project in the
gallery.
The Houten show yesterday has been a good one! I've talked to a lot
of friends and met some new friends! Thanks everyone for the great
day!
I didn't went home empty handed, when stopping by a GREAT Boa
enthousiast from the Netherlands (Walter
from PureBred-Boidae) he told me he had something cool laying
under the table...
When I pulled the box from under it, I was stunned! He had brought
his latest (Super) Salmon Jungle litter along for identification.
I was looking at some VERY good looking Salmon Jungles when he said
I could already take one home...man was I stoked !!! When I woke up
this morning I sure didn't expect to come home with a new Boa haha.
I choose a Salmon Jungle male on his GREAT color, I can't imagine
how he will look in a few months/ years !!!
Thanks again Walter for breeding such good looking Boas and giving
me the opportunity to acquire one from you!
I have also place some update photos of other animals in the
gallery, and I promise you the next update won't
take as long as it took me this time haha.
Everyone take care and enjoy
life!
NEW ADDITION!
02/04/2010
lLast
week a new animal has been delivered here at
C4L!
It isn't a Boa, it's a 2006 Elaphe climacophora female! For
me this is one the best looking Colubrids around! I've places some
photos of her in the gallery.
FEBRUARY PHOTO
UPDATE
01/03/2010
February was a good month
here
at C4L!, some Boas were ready to move into bigger
enclosures, I've also started building a new enclosure for a few
smaller Boas to live in. Breeding-wise the month has been going
steady, the only female I've paired up with a male had a shed of
which I hope was the Poss. I'll be watching her closely during the
next month.
NEW HEADERS
16/02/2010
It was
about time to add some new headers to the website, I've added 15 new
ones to the existing 9!
PHOTO UPDATE!
10/02/2010
It has already been a
month ago since I last shared some photos with you guys! So I've
placed some new photos in the gallery.
2010 HERE WE COME
01/01/2010
It has been some time since I update the website. But things have
just gone on, the Boas are doing good, growing slowly and showing
their potential!
I've got 1 couple laying together at the moment,
Claudia and a new
addition! A 2007 Arabesque poss. het Albino male called
speckle.
He's actually from her 2007 litter, he was the best looking boa from
the litter! I know it wasn't easy for Toine to let this one go, so
thanks again buddy; I'll be sure to send you updates on him!
I've also added new photos of almost every Boa!
HELLO WORLD!
18/08/2009
The intentions were to publish the website on Sunday, but due to a
technical problem this wasn't possible.
After A LOT of work, I managed to get the website up and running
again and it's finally time to introduce constrictors4life! to the
world!
WE'RE
ONLINE,
16/08/2009
After many questions from people wondering when I would ever make a
website for my own, I finally did.
Last Friday I had some inspiration so I started working, and after
making some very long hours the last few days (sleep? who needs
sleep...)
I managed to get the website up and running!
